Dunn

Terms of Service

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Defiance Media LLC, which runs Dunn ("Dunn", "we", "us"), for using getdunn.org and the Dunn service. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Dunn for a business, you agree for that business.

1. What Dunn does

Dunn creates invoices in your Stripe account, emails your clients on your behalf (the invoice, a reminder before it's due, and notices after), applies the late fee you set, and keeps a record of what was sent and what your clients replied.

Dunn is not a collection agency, a law firm, a bank or a payment processor. Your clients pay you through Stripe, and Stripe's own terms apply to those payments. Dunn never holds your money.

2. Your account

3. Your invoices and late fees

4. Plans and billing

5. Don't misuse Dunn

Don't use Dunn to send spam, harass or threaten anyone, collect money you aren't owed, break the law, or interfere with the service or other users. We can suspend accounts that do.

6. Your data

Your information and your clients' information stay yours. We use them only to run Dunn, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Dunn running and emails on time, but we can't promise it will never be down or that every email will be delivered. We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we'll tell you first.

8. Ending

You can stop using Dunn and close your account any time by emailing hello@getdunn.org. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms. When an account closes, Dunn stops sending emails for it.

9. Disclaimers and limits

Dunn is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises beyond these terms, and we aren't responsible for indirect or lost-profit damages, or for whether your clients pay. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid Dunn in the 12 months before it.

You agree to cover us for claims that come from your invoices, your late fees or your use of Dunn against these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect. Using Dunn after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes go to the courts in New York.
